This Sunday we celebrate diversity in the Dutch Church. We’ll hear a poem by the Flemish author and poet Griet Op de Beeck entitled: Let’s dare.
Let’s dare to be different, let’s be brave. Let’s face hopelessness with contempt, let’s acknowledge what we are worth, that’s often more than you might think. And let’s understand what love is, let’s remind ourselves that love is everything, or almost everything. Let’s dare.
About that love, that is almost everything, we hear from the first letter of John: “No-one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
The service will be mainly in English.
